The Narrow Strip Wax

An example of these new techniques is the “narrow strip wax.”  Most salons use a wide piece of cloth to save them time, but the result is greatly increased pain, redness, and uneven hair removal for the client.  Nina created the “narrow strip wax” which only waxes a thin strip at a time, and the difference is amazing.  Some clients find it so free from any pain that they actually fall asleep during the waxing process!

In addition, Nina has created her own unique wax, used only in the Beehive of Beverly Hills, and created from entirely pure and natural ingredients.  The texture of this fine wax reduces any discomfort on the skin, and helps to prevent the redness which is a common side effect of the inferior and cheap wax which many salons use.  The Beehive of Beverly Hills also helps reduce the redness which plagues other waxing salons by applying special creams after the waxing which contain the secret ingredient T-3, which is remarkably effective at reducing any potential redness.

Advantages of Waxing Over Shaving

• The greatest benefit of waxing over shaving is that a wax lasts much longer than shaving, as the hair must grow from deep within the follicle.  With shaving, you only reduce the hair to the level of the skin, so of course it grows out into stubble quickly, and must be removed again very soon. Teenagers who begin waxing before they’ve shaved never grow the thick body hair that may run in their family, as shaving makes hair grow back heavier, while waxing produces the exact opposite result. 
• Having your eyebrows waxed is becoming the hottest trend in waxing because plucking is painful and leaves the skin red and irritated. In contrast, eyebrow waxing performed with Nina’s new techniques is virtually pain free, with little or none of the lingering redness which plucking produces.  
• Another great advantage of waxing is that it removes the dead skin from the area, and this allows the healthier, younger looking skin to come to the surface.
